Screen well and bind with water.
Weingart says to cut them into 3/8" (9.5 mm) cubes and dry well. I generally pump mine with a 3/8" star plate and dry slowly (no direct sun - to avoid cracking from uneven shrinkage).
They ignite fairly easily as-is, but I prime them with low-quality (~1/2 hour) meal powder to be sure.
